My how time has passed!  We've been so busy that I have not had time to let you know what's going on wih our group.  First of all, we have been in some awesome services.  People have been saved, healed, delivered, encouraged, and praise God, that's what it's all about!  We are excited to have signed with Paradigm Music Group with Calvin Gann and Tammy Kirkland!  God has led us in this direction, and we know that He has a hand in it.  In April, we will be changing our name to The Shireys, which is our family name.  This is something we feel led by God to do to forward the ministry.  It will take some getting used to, even for us.
Congratulations toVictoria for winning State Champion in our Church of God State Teen Talent in the solo division.  Also, congratulations to Victoria and Rachael for winning State Champion in the Small Vocal Ensemble division.  They will be competing for Nationals in August in San Antonio, TX.  Please pray for them.
Well, that's about all for now except that we enjoyed being in concert with Crabb Revival twice in February, once in Greenville, SC and once in Columbia, SC.  We had church!  These kids are awesome!  If you get the chance to hear Adam , Terah, and the rest of Crabb Revival, I promise you, you WILL be blessed!  We have some great events coming up, so please check our schedule page for March 8th in Hartsville, SC.  We will be with Staight Gate and Kirk Talley.  Also check April 19th at Jamil Temple.  We will be with the Palmetto State Quartet and Upward Bound.  You do NOT want to miss these events!
Okay, I have to go now, but keep praying for our family.  Our prayers are with you.  We love and appreciate you.

Until Next Time,
Darlene Shirey

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!  Can you believe it is 2008 already?  This is definitely a year that is going to be great.  We have been in some awesome services this past year of 2007.  God has blessed us tremendously.  We have met many new friends and shared the stage with artists such as, The Stamps Quartet, Kirk Talley, Dixie Melody Boys, The Melodyaires, The Freemans, The Kirklands, Tony Gore, Cathy Perry, The Reggie Saddler Family, Cricket Lee, The Galloways, and several more.  What a year it has been.  Souls have been saved, people have been delivered, and many have been healed and encouraged.  A special thank you to those who shared our TV Christmas Spectacular show in December.  It was an awesome night.  A very special thank you to Jacob Crisp, who played the piano for us that night and also at our Unity Christmas banquet.  Also, Matthew Cutter, who did a dynamic job singing at both events.  Upward Bound did a wonderful job at our Christmas banquet as well.  We had a wonderful time on our cruise with The Anchormen and Mercy's Well.  A great big thank you to both of these groups for allowing us to share the stage with them on the cruise.  Wow!  We hope we can do it again this year.  We are looking forward to singing with Crabb Revival on February 2nd at Tremont Church of God in Greenville.  Call now for tickets!  They are $10 in advance.  More information is available on our schedule page.  We want to see you there!  We are heading back to Florida in January and February.  What a placeto be in these 2 cold months!  Please check our schedule to see when we will be in your area.  We can't wait to see you.  God bless and have a blessed 2008!  A great big thank you to our pastor, Charles Ledford, for his support of this ministry that God has given us and all of his physical help preparing for our Christmas banquet.  Thanks also to Harry tinsley for the beautiful banquet hall decorating.  Congratulations to Victoria!  She got her braces off and a new haircut!  she looks awesome!  Watch out guys, she's 18 now!  Haha!  Rachael should get hers off in June (if she stops chewing gum and eating sticky candy).  We hope to see you soon at a concert near you.

We love and appreciate you,
Darlene, Wayne, Victoria & Rachael

Wow!  We have been so busy!  Sorry I haven't written in a while, but we have really been putting some miles on our bus, Ruby.  God has used this ministry in so many ways, and we have seen souls saved, people's lives changed, rededications, healings, and restoration.  What an awesome blessing!  Not to mention, some great sermons along the way.
Gatlinburg Gathering was awesome!  NQC was awesome!  We sang in 4 different showcases this year, and God opened many avenues to forward the ministry of Unity.  We also won 1st place in the Mountaire Farms Talent Contest in Lumberton, NC.  We praise God for the oppurtunity to share what He has entrusted us with.  We really had church at the contest.  It was all to uplift the name of Jesus!  I almost shouted.
Great things are in store for the rest of this year.  We have 2 trips to Florida coming up, plus our cruise!  We can't wait!
I almost forgot, we have our new project, "One Of These Days", available now on our Products page.  There are 5 more originals by Victoria and 2 by Darlene.  Be sure to listen closely to "Have Faith", one of the songs written by Victoria.  You will be encouraged to trust God.
Check out our CD review for our project, "Don't Look Back", on
www.sogospelnews.com.  We were surprised by the response!  We give God all of the glory.  We realize that we are nothing without Him.  God is good all the time!
Keep watching the schedule.  We have new dates coming all the time.  We'd love to see you at a concert!  Please call to confirm before traveling long distances.  Things sometimes, beyond our control, change unexpectedly.  We are trying to keep you posted and up to date on all of our information.
Please take time to sign our Guestbook.  We would love to hear from you!
Check out Rachael's new personal website,
www.rachaelshirey.homestead.com.  She created it and is very proud of it!  Let her know what you think.
Don't miss the concert Sunday night at 6:00pm at Elmwood Avenue Church of God in Columbia, SC.  We want to see you there!  We're expecting a mighty move of God.
We love you! Thank you for your prayers!

Hi Friends!  What an awesome God we serve.  God has sent us to many places we thought we would never go and is opening doors in many new places for us.  Thank you, Lord!  Thank you for your prayers.  We love you so much and hope to see you at one of our upcoming concerts.
We had a great time in Waldo, FL!  The Campmeeting was wonderful, and God moved in a mighty way.  The pastor and his wife made us feel so at home.  They are so sweet.  We can't wait to go back up there in November.
We had the most awesome service in Rocky Mount, VA.  God moved, and our group was really ministered to.  We enjoyed spending the weekend with my son, Chris, and his wife, Jenny.  We got to spend some time with her family and had a blast.  Our friend, Alex, son of the lead singer with the Anchormen, also went with us.  We had a great time!
We're headed back into the studio next Wed, Thur, and Fri to put down the vocals for our new project coming out in September.  We are very excited about it.  It has 5 more original songs written by Victoria.  We are so proud of her and what God is doing in her life.  Pray for us as we sing and travel.  Keep Victoria in your prayers.  She's been battling either a sinus infection or a bad cold for the past few weeks.  Please remember her when you pray.  We hope to see you soon.

God bless, Darlene & Unity

Hi friends!  Happy 4th of July!  Busy, busy, busy...that's what we have been, but great rewards have come from the ministry and are still to come.  I won't be able to recap every service, but God has been working wonderful miracles.  We are so grateful.  Many souls have been saved.  People have been healed, delivered, encouraged, and blessed.  We give God all of the glory for the great things He has done through this ministry.
Last weekend, the LIVE TV program went wonderful.  We had an awesome time.  All of the groups who participated did an awesome job.  Thank you, every group, for your very hard work and dedication.  We worked with some great people.  Thanks to all of the workers at WBPI.  They did a wonderful job keeping us on track for 4 hours.  Thanks to Dorothy and Russell, owners of the station, who allowed us to share this great Southern Gospel music.
Our special friends, The Wisecarvers and The Duncans, traveled on to a concert on Saturday with us in Walterboro, SC.  We had a great time singing at the National Guard Armory there.  On the way back to TN, The Wisecarvers van and trailor that they were driving caught on fire.  Thank God, they all got out safe, and the trailor with all of their equipment in it was saved.  Their van was burned to a shell with the roof completely gone.  God was merciful.  Pictures will be up soon.  Please keep them in your prayers.  If you would like to get in touch with them to let them know that you are praying or to help with the expenses by giving a love offering, you can reach them at thewisecarvers@yahoo.com, or their mailing address is 906 Industrial Dr, Erwin, TN 37650.
We have been in the studio again and have put music tracks for our new project.  We are excited about this project.  We are recording 5 more original songs by our daughter, Victoria, and re-recording a couple that I wrote.  Pray for us to get this project completed soon.  We hope to have it by NQC.  We just released a new single from our last project we did written by Victoria, "My Heavenly Home".  Listen for it on your local Southern Gospel radio stations.  It's coming soon!
Well, I have to go now.  We have a lot to do to prepare for a week long revival in FL, starting Monday.  Keep our family in your prayers.  God loves you, and so do we.  Hope to see you at some of our upcoming concerts.  Check the schedule page to see when we're near you.

God bless, Darlene & Unity

Hey everybody!  God is so awesome!  We have had so many things going on in the past few months!  God is really opening up many doors for us, and we can't thank Him enough.  For those of you that don't know, Rachael's Brithday is today.  She's turning 15...unbelievable!  Drivers watch the road!  Haha!  If you would like to send her Birthday greetings, you can email her at rachael@unitytheshireys.com.  Be praying for us.  Our song, "My Heavenly Home", will be put out on radio stations nationwide in the next few weeks by Rick Hendrix.  We are very excited, and can't wait to see hoe God will use this song to minister to others all across the nation.  We have a big weekend in GA this weekend.  So, be praying for us, and we hope to see you soon.  For more information on concerts and services, please visit our website, unitytheshireys.com.  Also, the website has just been redone, so go check it out.  We hope you like it.
